The first time I heard from my friend .They have learn English at the library, after that. I have registered one week later. I went to class the school open two days a week on Tuesday and Thursday . It was so exciting for me. A long time ago when I came to the United States of America, I have never learned English at any school . But I have learned in the Phippine for 6 months in 1987 , after that in 1988 I was working to take care my family . I like to learn English because it was a second language. It was necessary for me, but it was hard to learn the language . I try to learn by myself , to read , to write and listen . Now I feel better a litter bit better I want to learn more English as soon as possible.
Finally, I would like to say thank you for teaching me English at the library.

It’s very good that you can share with us how did you find the English classes and the way that you feel about study English. I agree (something that I hate to do) 100% English is hard to learn. English has a difficult pronunciation, it has a single word that has a dozens of different meanings, plus all the up, down, in, out, on, off, that changes the significance of the words. Such a complicated language, but we don’t give it up, because we enjoy to learn with our wonderful teacher. But you don’t have to thank him, because he enjoys too, but not because of the students, but because of the FREE FOOD. Good Job Amphone and Somphou

I have one friend in the Laos countryside. His name is Mr. Thongle. He wasn’t working in a business. He was a farmer and planted rice. Every year the rain wasn’t good. He has thress children: one son, two daughters, but his wife was sick all the time. She just stayed home and took care of the children. It was a problem for her. They have no money. Medicine is expensive, and his house was broken. When it rained, the floor got wet. There wasn’t enough food to eat. There was a drought. Actually, he woke up early to go fishing and went back almost sunset. The time was running real fast. When the couple was growing up, they could help Thongle. After that, his wife was healed, she was feeling healthy. Thongle was building a new house. He saved the rice all year. Finally, they have a warm heart and love their family.

The first day we came to the U.S.A., we took off in an airplane. We aw a lot of snow. It was very cold. I have never seen snow since I was born. “It was wonderful,” my uncle said, “he U.S.A. has four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.” It was different from our country, which has two seasons: Summer and Fall. We can go everywhere. In the wintertime, we have to pay the gas bill. It’s hard to go outside. I thought the City took care of the roads better than in the past.
